Everyone Can be a Hero

A single mother needs a place where she and her children can play and have fun away from the stress of losing her job and maintaining the family household; a disabled teen needs a place for exercise appropriate for his abilities and just as importantly to socialize with his peers; a pre-teen girl needs a safe place to go in the evenings while her dad is at work....the YMCA is this place.

We know the Marion economy is hurting, and that means families and children are hurting.  The YMCA is a place where people come together as friends and neighbors; where people relieve the stress from daily lives; where families play together; where people of all ages become healthier; where children learn the values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility.  The YMCA is a place where everyone is welcome regardless of their ability to pay fees.

The Marion Family YMCA depends on you...friends of the YMCA and friends of our community who are willing to make a charitable contribution so that your neighbors receive the help they need.
