“The Marion Family YMCA is committed to providing financial assistance with membership and program fees for those who demonstrate financial need.  Financial Assistance is available due to the generosity of the United Way and YMCA Strong Kids donors.  Financial Assistance is awarded on a sliding fee scale based on household size and income. We also take into consideration other factors such as large medical bills, recent job lay-offs, etc.. 
 
Current YMCA members, and those considering a membership, who find YMCA fees difficult to afford are strongly encouraged to apply for assistance.  The application process is easy.  Simply download the application below, complete it and return to the YMCA with a copy of your most recent tax return or other current income verification.  We keep this information confidential and it’s only reviewed by one staff member.  Within two to three weeks of submitting your application you’ll receive a letter informing you if you qualify for assistance and the amount of your membership fees.”
