Pre-School Programs
HELPING THEM GROW
The Y is dedicated to providing young children with preschool education. Our programs encourage exploration, creativity and self expression through developmentally appropriate activities. Child guided learning experiences support healthy social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. YMCA staff portray positive role models while providing care, which is supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each child’s needs.

Pre-School ProgramsThe Y is pleased to have completed the licensing process for preschool education programs that will help children prepare for kindergarten, gain social skills, be active and of course have fun. Fees are per month and will be adjusted for holiday months as needed. Classroom size is limited for both preschools, allowing us to have a comfortable number of students for reasonable adult to child ratios. We encourage parents to register early. There is a one-time registration of $15 per child. This is due when you register and needed to hold your child’s spot in the classroom. Monthly fees may be paid through automatic bank draft or in person at the YMCA prior to the start of each month. As with all YMCA programs, financial assistance for preschool fees is available for families who demonstrate financial need. The application process is simple and quick. You can download an application from the Y’s website at www.marionymca.org or obtain one from the Y service center. A second child in the same household participating in either Explore & Play or Kaleidoscope Kids will receive a 20% discount off of the regular fee.Click Here for more information |

PROVIDING GUIDANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT AS THEY GROW
In YMCA Swim Lessons, not only are your children taught to swim in a caring way, but they also learn about personal safety, rescue skills, and water activities they can enjoy for a lifetime. Children progress through levels after mastering all the skills in each level. It often takes a child several sessions at one level before progressing to the next.
